Vacancies has arisen in our South Dublin Stores for Senior Wine Sales Staff:
This is a unique opportunity for a wine enthusiast who wishes to develop their career with Ireland’s largest independent wine retailer.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Maximising all sales opportunities using the company’s Selling Skills Standards
- Delivering excellence in customer care at all times, always striving to exceed the customer’s expectations.
- Maintaining the appearance of the store by assisting with floor plans and layout of the store whilst ensuring all deliveries are dealt with in an efficient manner.
- Complying with company policy and legal requirements with regard to selling alcohol and cigarettes
- Demonstrating excellent product knowledge in line with training and information received
- Ensuring that extremely high operational standards within the store are maintained
- Supervising and training junior members of staff.
The Person:
- Must hold WSET (Level 2) certification or equivalent and be prepared to undertake the WSET Level 3 course within 6 months of commencement.
- Is highly customer-focused, and understands the O’Briens ethos.
- Understands the day-to-day operations of an O’Briens retail store.
- Able to communicate effectively and confidently with customers.
- Committed to driving sales and contributing to business development opportunities.
- Is friendly, outgoing, and a mentor to new members of staff.
- Enthusiastic about training and self-development with a willingness to take part in training courses provided by the company.
